Where is it used?
- Greenhouse vent windows and side openings
- Vent windows of coops and small animal shelters
- Garden houses, hobby greenhouses and seedling areas
- Drying and storage rooms
Why a fine-pored filter?
Ordinary insect meshes stop large insects, but very small pests can get through them. The tight-pored structure of a window filter stops most of these tiny insects. At the same time, wind-blown dust stays at the opening.
Things to watch
- Airflow: The filter slows the airflow a little. In greenhouses that need heavy ventilation, keep the opening area large.
- Sun: The filter withstands outdoor conditions; even so, check its surface regularly when it is used for long periods in full sun.
- Cleaning: In dusty areas the filter fills faster. Clean it by rinsing with water.
